The Matthew Wayne Wade Foundation is a non-profit organization created in honor of Matt Wade, who abruptly passed away in the summer of 2010. The Foundation hosts the wine by the river festival in order to raise money to help local charities, schools, and other non-profit organizations in our local community. The Foundation has collected over 500 coats that were donated to the Coats for Kids Program organized by Debra Buchanan, made donations to Laurel Park Middle School and the Axton Life Saving Crew INC. We would like to thank our sponsors, volunteers and everyone that has donated to the foundation. The Foundation will continue to raise money to help our local community. The MWW Foundation made a donation to Project Lifesaver which is operated by the Martinsville Sheriff’s Office. The MWW Foundation made the donation with the proceeds from the 6th Annual Wine by the River Festival held October 24, 2020
